The cemetery is well maintained with lovely landscapes and beautiful flowers. It was so peaceful to be around this place.

What i can say....must see if you will go to Papua New Guinea for the Kokoda. I was really touched, specially when my friend found a grave of his family member.

Probably one of Port Moresby's best attraction's. Not only are the grounds immaculate you have a sense of pride when you enter the war cemetery as this would be a resting place fit for a king

About 4,000 buried here from WWII; mainly Aussies but half a dozen kiwi airforce boys and thousands British unnamed soldiers. The grounds are manicured by the Commonwealth. So moving.

After I had completed the Kokoda Trail with Australian Kokoda tours the next day Anzac Day I attended the dawn service. A very moving experience hard to believe I was actually there.

Hi there, I was with friends who are used to driving in PNG, I wouldn't recommend you drive yourself if you are unfamiliar with PNG. The drive is not that far, about half an hour from memory.
