If you do like to go a little deeper into Suriname hystory this is a place to spend a day.. So take it slowely and let all information come to you. THERE IS SO MUCH TO LEARN. .

A must and do the Sunday free guide tour 10.30 or 12.00 Please give royal tip as the museum is very cash short.. Visit Sunday 07.00-09.30 the singing birds competition nearby at Onafhankelijkheidsplein.

A fort made by the Dutch in the 16th century. Typical star shape from the period. The museum is interesting. Offers nice shade on the typical heat of Paramaribo
