Went to the zoo, as wanted to see the giant anteater. I'm sure they do there best, with limited funding, but it was hard not to leave a little depressed. Some of the animals and there enclosures were miserable. Hopefully there are plans for improvement.
There are talks about animals being taken away and eaten? I don't believe that at all. Parbo is a nice pleasant city and the zoo seem to be well maintained.
There are more animals here than Guyana Zoo and they are in good conditions.
This is less a zoo than a playground. There's not too many animals left as they seem to die of old age and they can't get replacements. But the playground is nice enough for children and it's a lively place.

Not an inspiring place. There is a selection of animals but with the exception of the monkeys that had some space on an island they seemed to be very constrained in small enclosures.
