Nice to see while going around the city.

It's a nice place to stop during the day, but especially all lit up in different colors at night. I don't think anyone is allowed to go on the grounds or inside. Lots of police.

Went at night to see the palace and to have a meal across the road. The food was good there and the palace is a nice backdrop. Do not stop directly outside with your taxi the guards do not like it at all. Not sure on the surrounding area but it seems close to other monuments.

This is a good stop in the Centro for a photo opportunity in an area the is otherwise a little dilapidated. It has a scenic backdrop of the river.

A very animated guard did not like us stopping and using cameras! The car was quicker than he was!! But the view from the river was worth it.

The palace has some guided tours - make sure you ask the locals or at the security guard for teams offering the tour

Could only see it from outside and from the sidewalk at that. It is still used officially so there is not admittance for the public. Great for photos especially at night. If you want a really higher up view of the Palace go across the road to the Manzana where there is a bar on the first floor that gives... More

It is a nice building just to see if you come for 2 days in Paraguay, but the area is very dangerous as it has a slum just a walk down the street.

Could only look from the sidewalk. No admittance but it's a spectacular building and now painted the original pink.

I have my share of pictures in front of this beautiful building in which the President holds the official meetings. It is OK to take pictures, but do not step on the grass! The pictures at night come fantastic, as the illumination is very well done. There is also a nice bar in front, very crowded, with better views of... More
