Can see only from afar. There are tall fences and gaurds around it. But magnificent never-the-less, with immaculate grounds and lovely surrounding area.

This palace is home of the president of Colombia. 3 minutes walk from Plaza Bolivar. Of course, you cannot go inside unless you have some special appointment or approval.

If you're in the Bolivar Plaza neighbourhood, take a few extra minutes to navigate around the Palace. Visitor access is surprisingly lax, albeit lined with armed military police. Be sure to take in the various ministries and the early 19th century Observatorio Astronomico!

Continuing the walk from the Simon Bolivar Square on carrera 7th, you will come to this building To visit it you will have to book the tour online, subject to particular times. Also inside, you can’t take pictures, but the building is definitely worth a visit!

Palacio de Nariño, the Colombian president's residence, is a nice activity to round up your visit to Bogota. Very well prepared tour guides (young members of the army) will take you on a 90 min walking tour around the palace. On the down side, despite it's large size, other Presidential "palaces" in Latin America are way more impressive and have... More

The president residence is behind the Plaza de Bolivar. There is no access to the place but you can see it from outside. It is heavily guarded by military and police.

As a presidencial house is the least public space in the city. There is a ridicule condition that you are forbidden to use the sidewalk to walk, a very stupid norm, as it should be the stupid who decided this nonsense. It has a nice plaza, not a public one, linking the Parlament with the house, in the middle there... More

Our Tour Guide from the Tourist Office did a good job explaining about this palace where the Columbian President lives and works ( like the White House in Washington, DC). The back areas of this place is more beautiful, particularly where the 2 guards are present. I got my picture taken with both guards who are both smiling! We all... More

A great walk-by for those touring Bogota. The guards are very friendly and their uniforms make for great pictures. You are not allowed to step too close to the fence, but you may catch a glimpse of the President.
