This is at about 4900 meters and is a very attractive area. I came here to begin the El Choro trek which I would highly recommend. Expect your breath to be taken away as even acclimatized will be affected.

This is a wild place - very high up. Be careful with the altitude and try to plan your visit with a holiday. That way you'll see Bolivians doing some cool things. It's really great to go around August 1 for Pacha Mama as well...More

It's a foggy place at 4'300m where starts the VTT to the dead road. On this site you can also find a ritual site from a Swiss/Bolivian sculptor, Francine Secretan. She built monumental sculptors where also local Yatiris (shamans) go to detain their rituals.
