If you looking for Alpaca jumper, socks or scarf or anything else traditional it is touristy indeed, but still a must and lovely just to indulge into the vibrant colours, to watch the Cholitas, to find some personal treasure or something to bring home.

people say its a touristic point but like everything in bolivia its just a way to make you go there and spend some money. theres nothing usefull to buy in this street except for the clothing. waste of time and money

This is an interesting market. When we visited many of the stalls were closed but the flower stalls were all open. They smelt gorgeous and looked beautiful. I particularly liked the slopes between levels which made access easy.

The street is filled with colourfull touristic shops. It is the ideal place to find your souvenirs. The dried baby lamas they are selling makes the place special as well.

My girlfriend visited La Paz 5 years ago and was really disappointed with the Witches market this time round. They offer a huge variety of tourist aimed souvenirs at next to nothing prices which is obviously good. However, it’s more just market than ‘Witches’ market...More

Many friends brujas, shopkeeepers and marketeers with time and patience to explain the origins and uses of their wares. A lot of tourist trinkets but also plenty of authentic traditional items. If you have space in your backpack be sure to pick up one of...More

Besides the "interesting" llama foetuses, most of the stalls sell the same stuff. Interesting for a walk, but too orientated to the occasional tourist to meet my personal taste.
