This place is a cool geologic oddity with a Disneyland-type trail. Nice short excursion from the hectic urbanity of LaPaz that only takes a couple of hours. The several other families there were all having a good time. if you take little kids, watch them...More

Visited here as part of a city tour. Although they are pretty interesting to look at they are not as spectacular as people have made them out to be. iI's worth a visit as the cost is only 15 Bolivian (USD 2 AUD 3).

Fun place to walk around and see some crazy texture. We took our drone and got some amazing footage! Can do a 15 minute loop or a 45 min loop.

Amazing and surreal moon like place, with strange and beautiful rock formations which make you feel like being onto another planet. Take on hour (max 1.5h) to enjoy this incredible place with surreal views!!

Fascinating geological feature, nice walk through a unique natural feature. It’s easily accessible from the downtown. Don’t miss Mario Sarabia’s pottery studio nearby. He uses the raw material from the Valley to create his art.

The Moon Valley in La Paz is very close to the city of La Paz, about 20 min. by car going south of the city direction to Mallasa. This is a geological formation by erosion due to wind, rain and time. We got there by...More

Very few dogs around- but apart from at the ticket booth, didn't see any officials around - so doubtful they would even notice if one is subtle.

There is really no need for a guide. There are two clearly marked trails of 15 and 45 minutes and the entire walk is in a fenced area so is totally safe. A taki from La Paz should cost you 40 Bs. You will have to catch a... More
