Very different and interesting.

Enjoyed our short visit here. It does not takes long to walk the tracks as it doesnt cover a very big area. Was very interesting though and worth seeing

This "park" has two trails through the rock formations, a 15min and a 45min one. If you're driving all the way here, I suggest the 45min trail, though it can be easily done in 30min. The trail, however, is falling apart in places because of the rain (making the path almost too narrow to walk through in certain places), and... More

Moon valley is a small exhibition for interesting natural rock sculptures. It is only 15 BOB to enter and 2.50 BOB each way on the bus to get there, or you can take the teleferico and then a bus - a more enjoyable way!

It's a bunch of erosion effected mud that sort of looks like moonscape. Only problem is you are still surrounded by urban sprawl, so its a bit hard to indulge in the fantasy. It's really hard to breathe due to La Paz's altitude, so thats kind of like the moon. It only costs $7 or so for the cab out... More

A very unique location that is not commonly found. We had great photos here. Suggest to spend more than 1 hour to walk to various part/paths.

Valle de la Luna is gorgeous, well thought out and sympathetic walking path - don't come here thinking it's a hike - with a lovely meandering path through the area. The journey up very pretty as well. We just did this all super cheap on public transport Colectivo there - get on any one that says Malassa from outside San... More

Eventhough colour range of the landscapes is contrary to local fabrics, scarce and limited by sandy to grey, with scattered green of cactus and equisetum, the whole scenery gives you very intense aesthetic pleasure to behold. It is certainly worth of a taxi trip, a few miles from downtown. There was a piper in Bolivian garments whose performance on top... More

It doesn't take a long time to see everything so it is quite a long way out of town for a short experience. It is however very interesting and beautiful and worth the trip. You should be careful when you walk around. There isn't the same level of health and safety as in the UK.

We visited this unique place for an hour or so. The erosion of the land creates an interesting view worth the walk. We did the 45 min circle and enjoyed it very much. It was not crowded but there were others on the trail. This would be difficult for those with mobility issues although perhaps the short walk and overlook... More

Beautiful place, worth to visit. U need only couple of hours. Take a van from plaza san Francisco that goes to mallasa. (Small city right after moon valley). It costs around 4bs one way. Tell the driver u are going to valley de la luna, he will stop there. Entrance is about 15bs if i remember well. U can walk... More
