If you're in La Paz, it is certainly worth visiting Jaen Street, a well preserved and good looking relic of La Paz's colonial past. It is quite narrow and very quaint.

enough museums to keep mesuem hollicks occupied for the day, from instruments to art, to precious metals. Good cafes too.

This street is short and narrow with cute facades on colourful buildings. Worth a look and to take a few pictures but I wouldn't go out of the way to find it.

We walked up to Jaen St having been told that it was a good place to go to. Jaen St is quaint with original buildings. The museums however were not well laid out and the house was restricted to two rooms. I would not recommend...More

I stayed in a hostel on this street so it was a short hop to 4 small museums that this area is known for. Note the lovely cobblestone/rock detail on this little winding lane.

Worth exploring the area, many museums and galleries. Nice artisan types of shop but beware they are closed on Sat afternoon and Sunday. There some interesting colonial architecture.

This street has so much history. You can go to four government run museums for a small fee: The House of Murillo (the man who started the revolution against the Spaniards), the Museum of Precious Metals, the Litoral Museum (military/history of the access to the...More

Calle Jaen is not very long, but it was very pretty and there were plenty of beautiful colors up and down the street. It's a great spot to take pictures, and there are also a few museums, tour agencies, art galleries, and cafes along the...More

One of the few remaining traditional streets left in La Paz, no cars, only pedestrians and quaint shops, cafes and bars.

Had walked through this street and was still looking for it. Narrow street about 150m long. You are at the end of it while still looking for it. Nothing really there.
