I recommend mountainbiking the deathroad. It is not as 'scary' as I first thought, nevertheless it gave an adrenaline-kick. Make sure to book at a solid company; gravity, barracuda, altitude etc.

We had a great time doing Death Road with Junkies. They picked us up early to avoid road blocks from the protests and gave us delicious snacks, coffee/ tea. It was great to be offered fruit and egg rolls, as opposed to the usual white...More

Do it, did it. Great fun, not hard as all down hill but plenty of very steep drop offs, crossing of waterfalls on roads and zooming in and out of any traffic

We had a terrible expérience with Barro Biking. They charge you a lot and do not give a good service. Avoid them. But the death road should be nice with other agency.

Booked everything myself. Stayed at Europa hotel - brilliant and went with gravity - brilliant. For $100 or so got a taxi with guide to take me to lake Titicaca also brilliant.
