The Corniche is a beautiful place to go for a peaceful walk - extraordinary because it is situated in the middle of the city, along the coast. The lovely fountains are beautiful at day and night - three that are mentionable are the "Volcano" fountain,...More

Its a long pathway, maybe 10km, beautifully laid out, with a glorious beach on one side and occasional sculptures, plazas etc. On the other side of the path (across the busy road, but there are underpasses) there are office blocks, and apartment blocks, and for...More

We enjoyed walking along the Corniche during the day. It was pretty empty but the views are great as one side is the beach and the other is the city. Lots of little parks along the way as well. Nice area.

Good for people watching and a general stroll in the evening! I would say it would be too hot during the day. Some shops selling goods and food establishments selling fast food type goods!

Good place for kids, kind of a very long walk through the entire Corniche. May not be suitable to walk the whole way with kids and senior citizens. But good place to spend time in the evenings. The beach front is also good to spend time.

Nice safe spot for a stroll, very safe evening and night time. Lovely to have the sea and the amazing Abu Dhabi skyline in the background. Some of the beaches here are private, but it is a nice spot for a stroll.

If you’re staying on the corniche I suggest you start at your hotel and just choose a direction to walk. Plenty along the way to see or hotels to stop at for a meal or refreshments.
