Damascus Omeyad mosque is for sure the most magic and lovely from all mosques in the world. The syrian people is friendly and helpful.You can feel their hospitality even inside the mosque.

Beautiful place to visit in the center of the old city of Damascus, avoid the visit on Friday as the Souk around is close and the access to the mosque are restricted

The murals on the walls of the courtyard are amazing. Beautifuly decorated inside with huge chanderliers. Definitely a must see for any visitor to Damascus.

What you wanted from umayyad mosque. historical and amazing umayyad mosque. How you can destroy this kind of place .. what kind of terrorism is it ? Hope to see Umayyad again restored and hope to see people praying there..

A place that should definitely visit it in Damascus. I dont know what happened to this mosque now because of war, Only hope visit it again
