Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Of course in Doha, everything is paid for by the government. In most places around the world, this kind of place would be filled with gambling, with entrance fees and costs for the program. Instead, it's free. Free entrance, free programs, but, being an Islamic country, no gambling. The horse racing is quality, and you get closer to the jockeys and track than you ever would elsewhere. A nice evening out, considering there's often nothing to do in Doha.

Has been here during my stay working for Al Shaqab with some friends. We really had a blast.
A beautiful acomondation (I'm used to the acomondation's in The Netherlands and Belguim and had a couple of visits on racingtracks in Germany/France and Sweden).. this track is a really must see! Right from a movie, with a lot of prestige!
And I really love the vibes during the race... feelings (and seeing) the externe gives us all Goosebumps! Wonderfull!
A really day at the track like it have to be!

Having lived in countries that Equestrian competition is readily available, one never attends as there are so many other things on the agenda; however, in Qatar as one looks to find entertainment in unusual places, we noted there were international competitions and off we went. This was fantastic' the facilities were incredible, the equestrian riders simple and elegant and the coffee and services all good. It is a great place to take the children as they can watch the horses and riders compete, one can mingle with the locals and enjoy a few hours out sipping Arabic coffee and nibbling on Arabic sweets. It was great and I was most impressed by the Qatari and foreign riders. Oh, importantly it is free! I still would not horse ride myself, but that is another story!

It is very huge and well maintained. There are outdoor and indoor stadiums as well. Very neat and clean. Well recommended for families and children. Most of the tournaments are having free entry. There are restaurant, masjid and café as well.

This is a World Class facility but doesn't appear to have any decent roads to get you to it ! It has a massive outdoor arena which can be covered by a retractable roof. It also boasts and indoor school, again covering a large area. We went for the Longines Global Champions Tour, which brings together the Top 30 ranked show jumpers in the world. Doha is the final venue of the 15 cities visited. Parking is easy and there is ample seating. There are two snack bars and a small stall selling event souvenirs. Cameras were permitted. An exciting day out.

It is an amazing place with indoor and outdoor arenas, training areas, riding classes and breeding areas. We were able to go into the arenas as they were setting up and getting ready for a show jumping competetion. We saw many of the beautiful Arabians in the barns and one working out in the water and another one on a treadmill. It is a huge area and the animals are treated first class. We were not there on a day when they were racing.

We visited this place on a Thursday. The first race started at 4:00 pm and they had the last one at around 7:20 pm. It was a lot of fun. I recommend this place.
