Spent a day in Qatar. Thought about walking along the Corniche in the day but it was just too hot- 38C in April. The evening was much more pleasant and an opportunity to enjoy the skyline. It's clean, safe and enjoyable with the children.

A great place to walk in the cooler months, but not enough trees and shade during Summer. Also not enough food and beverage outlets along its length. Could learn from Abu Dhabi Corniche.

A beautiful walking area. Great views of the Museum of Islamic Art, close to the Souq Waqif and dhow rides are available. Good activity for an evening because it's a littler less humid and hot.

Taking a walk along the beautiful Corniche will give you an experience of the blueness of the Gulf and at the same time see the beautiful modern building of the city. The distance was about 4 - 5km and there are interesting mosaics and works...More

Take a look around the old town soul first. A short taxi ride can then take you directly to the town centre where you can see the jaw dropping futuristic architecture close up close. Afterwards stroll back the way you came along the Corniche. Perfectly...More

Not far and it's a lovely walk; or get a quick taxi if it's blistering hot.
