I been in other museum but this is the best museum I ever visited. It houses the artifacts collected from three continents and having world’s most complete collections of Islamic artifacts. Impressive design of the building! A must see in Doha.

Nice walk around the museum, with lots of artifacts to see. There was also a small Muhammad Ali exhibition on at the time on the upper exhibit floor.

Superb museum, airy, beautiful objects, very well presented and illuminated. The windows are so clean my wife bumped her head a few time. The explanations are in English and Arabic and some times I wished for longer description and context. Photography allowed but with no flash! We spend 2-3 hours and could have spent more, but we to exhausted. They... More

a wonderful design from architecture point of view. Exhibition inside is nicely laid out. Valuable pieces in the show, it frequently hosts imported pieces from around the world for some time, I had the chance to see the Chinese warriors in December 2016. Very friendly and welcoming staff Very nice large park with gulf view outside.

Designed by the famous I.M. Pei, this museum houses an encyclopedic collection of Islamic art. It also offers special exhibits on a regular basis. Currently and through April, I believe, the special exhibit is of Muhammad Ali! Exhibits are carefully arranged to offer maximum viewing space, sometimes even seeming sparse! The cafe on the ground floor offers a stunning view... More

I loved the exhibits, specially the works of art and jewelry of the 11th - to the 14th century. I would definitely tell all my friends.

Visit during daytime - about early afternoon and then walk around outside along the sea. Shuts too early around 5pm. You could spend about an hour inside. Could be more interesting but it isn't. Eating facilities. Clean restrooms.

Spent some time at the MIA on a recent visit to Doha, and what a pleasure. All is remarkable: the building itself, the collection on display, the view of the city from its gigantic window, its café, all! Well worth the afternoon that I spent here.

Wonderful building on the sea front of Doha, easy to get to and free! This would be a loverly place to visit and escape the sun, it is at the end of the cornice, there is a small cafe inside but a better one around the corner just follow the palm trees. As a museum it is limited and its... More

Great history and exhibits. Must see the art design and architecture of the building, the designer was the one who designed the Glass Pyramid outside the Louvre in Paris. Should get a local guide if you are interested in history. Free admission. A nice cafe and a souvenir shop as well. See attached photos. Nice photo opportunities outside the museum... More
