I was recommended that its a must to go to Villaggio . I thought it was a regular shopping mall. But it is a different way of shopping feeling, right in Venice, with the gandola around, the fake sky. They have a big food court,...More

Villagio is, by far, the nicest mall in Qatar, to rival the Dubai Mall and Mall of The Emirates. The interior is reminiscent of the Venetian in Las Vegas, with the sky painted on the ceiling and gondolas in part of the mall.

What a mall with Italian countryside theme. The indoor canal with gondolas with a open sky painted ceiling which does not allow you to think of time. And hundreds of international brands to shop or dine with.

We visited and had a nice relaxed walk through the shops. There were a lot of known brands (Zara, H&M, Top Shop, Virgin music, River Island, American Eagle etc), although we couldn't find much to buy with it being more winter oriented fashion. Much better...More

Smoking is allowed everywhere in Qatar. One of the last countries I think to still allow smoking in pubs and restaurants. I'm not sure about the malls tho.

Yes, loads of places home deliver. But what with the traffic here in Doha these days, you may have to wait for over an hour, and not every pizza I've had has been really hot (I know westerners seem to like their food hotter... More
