Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you ask some of the old cab drivers where you can find this filipino souq they will bring you here. Popular for most filipinos due to the filipino shops located here. From barber shop, restaurants, bakery and groceries.

Some of the cheapest price is here.

oh my favorite shawarma stall is here... one of the oldest shawarma stall is located here.

overcrowded place. not recommend with kids. parking is always full.

Souq Al Asiri is one of the oldest souqs in Qatar. When there was no malls, our destination used to be for Souq Al Asiri or Souq Al Jabir. Now, many malls contains all facilities makes people less visit the old ones. Still many visitors for those souqs. Remember to bargain and bargain. Hard to find parking.

2002 to 2007 I worked in Doha. Filipino Souq as they called is a good place for meeting Filipino friends who are having fun buying ingredients for cooking food and shopping for cheap things.

Nothing worthwhile to see in this souq, everything is overpriced and highly doubt the quality. Rather spend time at souq waqif and avoid this visit at all costs!!!!

In this mall, I had one of the best experiences in the whole Middle East. The shopkeepers were really friendly and talkative. Especially on the 2nd floor, there is a fabric and clothing shop called 'Al Kayenat Lil Abayat,' whose owner was a truly genuine gentleman. He offered us tea and sweets, even though we were total strangers to him. He also gave us a tour of his shop, and we bought some high-quality clothes from him. Overall, the experience was great, even though there is a bit of a lack of parking space. In my opinion, it's a must-visit old market
