The corniche provides a lovely place to walk with the ocean on one side and the mountains surrounding you. There are places to stop and sit, and plenty flowers to beautify the spot further. It's very clean and it's nice to view the boats along...More

The Walk along Muttrah Corniche and visit to the Muttrah Souq were amongst my favourite attractions in Muscat. You can see the mountains change colour as the sun sets over the sea and the city lights up in the evening. Although the place is bustling...More

We just enjoyed the walk from the Souq as for as long as we had time. Enjoyed the waterfront. Make sure to take note of the size of the Sultan's yacht!

The Corniche is a nice walkway which runs for about three kilometers along the harbour from the Muttrah Souk to the Palace. You can find pristine gardens and fountains along this stretch. At the northern end of the Cornish there is a fish market and...More

In the midst of fortresses, a palace, mountains and the sea, you find the Muscat corniche. There is so much to see: the Mutrah souk, the boats in the harbor, and all the little coffee and juice places along the way, not to mention the...More

Long walking corniche. Beautiful and very clean public beach. You will find lots of omanis sitting and chilling or just taking a walk. Enough coffee shops like Star Bucks, Japengo to indulge yourself.

Great place to walk around and get the feel of Muscat. Plan to eat elsewhere as the restaurant options are not good. Keep driving past the Corniche to the beach - it's amazing!

This was in a good setting, good for both promenading and driving along. The beach was very clean and there were ample cafes and restaurants along it.

This is a nice walking sidewalk along the port in Oman. A great vantage point to see the ships and yachts and some fishermen. There are also bikes for "rent" (someone said they are free).

Hi S, the walk is about 3 kms through what was the container port until last year. Not pretty. Seems to me there are shuttle buses all the time from the cruise ships down onto the Corniche. Drop off point is where the old... More
