Stayed at the Millenium Resort in Mussanah and dived with Sea Oman. Trip was at end of October. En route to the islands we went through whale shark territory and were lucky enough to snorkel with whale sharks on each of the 3 days - these were only babies about 5-6 meters long. Once at the islands visibility was 30... More

We took a boat from Al Mouj port at wave muscat. journey was for 45 min. even boat journey was enjoyable. If you are going alone they'll charge 25 rial, we took a full boat which costed 230 rial for 22 persons. All were exited to see the island after reading so many reviews. As we expected it was so... Visited the island in the beginning of March for a weekend. Went by car to Muscat from Dubai. Wanted to camp overnight on the island and do some snorkeling and diving, so decided to go via a tourist agency and not to try to hire a local fishermen boat. Left we organising for the last moment, so had to call... More

Al Daymaniyat Islands are just only an hour sail from Muscat. Unbelievably beautiful sea life, like on the Discovery channel. Coral riffs and all shapes and colour of fish: blue and yellow and stripy and silver and small and huuge. If you are lucky you can meet a whale shark, about 20m guy that eats plankton. This nature reserve is... More

We had an amazing experience with Fahad and Lea at Daymaniyat Shells LLC out of the Al Mouj/The Wave Marina. From the first email contact with a speedy response time to stepping of the brand new boat back at the marina, everything was perfect. Farad was a wonderful captain and guide! The company provides clean towels, water and juices, snacks... More

There is no denying, as dive locations go the Daymaniyat Islands are up there with the best of them. There are opportunities to see Whale Sharks, Cuttlefish, Thresher Sharks and many hundreds of colourful fish. However, over the many years that I have been diving there most of the D.I. sites are steadily becoming less of the jewel they once... More

Travelled with a group of Family friends. Hired a shaded boat from the Waves. They charged RO.250/- for half day trip. Otherwise per person charge is 25. As we were not expert divers, we opted the shallow beaches in one of the islands. We have seen groups heading for diving. We were the only occupants in that island, except the... More

The colours of the water her are amazing: aquamarine, turqouise, ultramarine and so on. I was very lucky to see a turtle when I was snorkelling as well as various coloured fish. Unfortunately, some litter bugs had left their rubbish on the beach but it was still beautiful.

Our tour was with Daymaniat Shells LLC sea tour. We should first mention the profesionalism and reactivity of Daymaniat Shells LLC company : they have answered our request for a reservation (made at 8.30 pm for the following day) in less than 30 min! Lea, the assistant answered all our questions and emails right away. This was really appreciated. The... More
