This guy will be very helpful and nice at first. After he gets you down to the Wadi he will try to separate your family, corner the young ladies in your group, take his cloths off, and will aggressively grab them where ever he wants. His name is Zier!

only to drive this Wadi is already an exiting experience, especially self-driving - small mountain road, steap and lots of narrow turns ! At the end you reach a mountain - village and than you hike for 10 minutes down to the waterfall, which you can not see from the village - not so easy to hike - you should... More

This Wadi features a few small villages connected by a mountain road. It can be hiked as well. Nice views, but no swimming in pools. The road get narrow in places and requires AWD. Nice views, but by far not as spectacular as near-by Wadi Shams. There are, however, organized multi-day hikes across the mountains to Wadi Bani Khalid.

I am guessing this is not an easy place to find but it is sign posted; but, our guide clearly knew the way! Narrow lanes take you deep into the wadi through banana and lemon plantations, where local farmers sell in the souqs. We came across some small children towards the top of the wadi and they were very cute,... More

If you just want to have a short glimps, take your car and drive inside the Wadi between the big rockwalls, getting closer and closer. You can drive easily up to a nice spot on a river for just taking a photo or having a picnic. But then you will miss the best!!!! Going on on the small and steep... More

If you have a problem with hiking, this wadi was wonderful. Quiet, less tourist and the access was good.

Wadi Tiwi is not that touristy as Wadi Shab and that's why definitely worth a visit. It is easily accessible by 2DW car (less than hour drive from Sur). It is much more comfortable to walk in the villages than drive. The walk is pleasant and the place is very quiet and calm. I would recommend checking the prayers time... More

not touristy. No facilities. Just calm, green and beautiful. Our favourite wadi during our trip. Please respect the Omani traditions of dress and courtesy and leave your vehicle at the foot of the village.

This is a beautiful place and is cooler in temperature when compared to near by places. When it comes to a review, Pictures do better justice than words for Tiwi. You just have to be there to feel it. We were there early morning, right after the sunrise. Winds were pleasantly cold. The terrains are quite photographic. 6 words that... More
