Tucked away and quiet when I went, this was a well laid out collection and easy to navigate, the statue of the lady with the stone earings is stunning.

Free admission as well (not that the National Museum is expensive) and it's of course in the beautiful grounds of the American University, so it's a lovely place to visit in any case. A well-thought-through collection providing a useful overview of Lebanon's history.
