Walk around without any plans , look at the shops ... sit and drink coffee and water pipe any of the available cafe in this street. a huge variety of small boutiques or brand names . You will find old Beirut between the lines.

Always busy... try to catch the souk at evening hours. Its always packed with AUB students and people from all different nationalities. Not high brands available but its a fun experience

I enjoy walking along Hamra street, wither I'm out for shopping or a meal or drink or just for a good walk in Beirut this will be my first choice. generally crowded till late evening, accessible and easy to reach.

It's a bit chaotic and it doesn't seem like the easiest place to navigate. I'd recommend going with a local or having had more research than just a couple of minutes on Google like I did :)

This street is so nice. It has different shops where you can find anything that you are looking for and many restaurants. I would recommend a trip in the evening as the street is lite up and busy with many people
