On a sunny day a very beautiful walk. Alongside the Sea. Spectacular view of the mountains above Beirut.

We often go to this restaurant in the morning for a breakfast, but have been for lunch a few times as well. It is all about the sea view and sounds of the ocean. The food is OK but not great. The price is right and it can be uncomfortable with so many people smoking the water pipes.

Hurry and see it before they close all free sea attractions in Beirut. You can see the fishermen at any time of the day, enjoy a long walk or run, play with your pets and kids, have a light snack to eat like kaak or corn or cotton candy. Very enjoyable during sunset.

it is where everyone meets, you can have a coffee while watching the sea and the waves, you can go fishing there, have a swim, go with the family for a walk, have a jog.. its the place to be

Nice for a stroll on a sunny day. Plenty of people use this area to exercise. From one end to the other it's about 1 hour walking. Good way to see the beirut coast.

In some Middle East cities, the Corniche is a centre where lots of people congregate. It doesn't really appear so in Beirut. For one thing, there are too many industrial and military installations along the waterfront. They often sit between the Corniche and the sea, which make the Corniche less of a pleasant place to be. Beirut really needs to... More

I love the corniche. Sea view Calm Clean Spacious I can sit there all day and look at the sea. Variety of restaurants and shops along the road. It is very soothing.

It used to be one of the best places to visit, take a walk, enjoy the beach view, the air, the people... Became too crowded, dirty at certain spots; lots of annoying people that enjoy checking you out. Still recommend this place, but not during "peak hours" (late afternoon/early evening".

I visited the beautiful American University of Beirut, and could see the Corniche from the hilly side of the school. I chose to exit the University at the bottom of the hill to take a walk on the Corniche. It was a sunny January day, and families with children, young loves and others enjoyed walking, talking, sitting on nearby benches... More
