About
The Zaitunay Bay certainly exceeds all expectations and transcends the national borders to further polish Lebanon’s image and allow it to assume its rightful position as a touristic destination, but more importantly, as an exclusive and luxurious destination rivaling the best the world has to offer. Being the go-to place for all the Lebanese, Zaitunay Bay also inevitably is a prominent touristic destination. A must-see destination offering an array of various, cultural, leisure and social activities which finally brings back those faded photographs of Lebanon into the new millennium.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Expensive, hot, and full of beggers that constantly chase you. The restaurants and coffee shops have bad air conditioner, so if its hot, inside you can't do anything but feel exhausted by the heat.

The views are obscured by private yachts and the walkway isnt comfortable to walk across. It's overhyped and not worth a visit by families or solo travellers.

We had the new year's eve dinner at one of its restaurants and a stroll. Good restaurants with lebanese or international cuisine, coffee places and some beautiful shops. A nice, clean place for a walk, meal or coffee.

The Bay is attractive, it was nice to take a walk down the boardwalk and look at the different yachts moored. There are a number good restaurants and cafes on the boardwalk. This place looked like it had a lot of potential to be much more then it is, but at the moment it lacked any atmosphere.

My Advice: It's a nice walk to get to Zaitunay Bay, so stop by for and view and have a coffee break or drinks.

It is such a lovely place with a great vibe and so many pretty cafes on the marina. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy some great food overlooking the yachts.

We went for a walk with the children (2 strollers) and we enjoyed it. There was easy access for the strollers which made everything perfect. We also had a coffee and something to eat. There are plenty of choices to sit, relax, drink or eat. Recommended to go if you are ever in Downtown Beirut.

Overlooked by luxury flats built for rich Gulfees that have destroyed the traditional frontage of Beirut - and blocked everyone else's view of the sea - this commercial development has no roots in Lebanon. It typifies the crass development carried out by Solidere, the monopoly that was handed central Beirut as a profit-making zone.

Overpriced food and drink, placed so that people can admire the boats of the rich and powerful.

It's ok to take a walk along, although the ever-present security guards are ever on the look out for any ordinary or even poor Lebanese, Syrian or Palestinian who might want to sit by the sea.

But, really, go to the Corniche and walk there.

I left Zaitunay Bay as the last place to visit before flying back home. And glad that I did. Having visited many places of history (good and bad) this bay area is beaming sign of a modern Beirut and a great respite from the traffic noise of the older parts of the city. Over looking the bay is the towering Four Season Hotel, which is a landmark itself. There is plenty of food & drink places along the strip. Two lazy hours pass before you know it. The modern shopping complexes are a lazy 15 minutes walk away.
