Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everyone knows these sea stacks. They are emblematic of Beirut. Certainly you shouldn't miss a quick photo stop. If you want to get up close and personal, there are boat trips that go through the rocks. I watched that spectacle from afar as the boats did not look all the seaworthy.

Before traveling back to Lebanon, my Instagram feed was filled with the most beautiful pictures that other travelers had taken. The Rouche Sea Rock was one of them and to be honest I was too excited to go see it. Right in Beirut, this beautiful rock sits a little of the coast and is just amazing to see in real life. We only spent a few minutes taking photos of the rock and the view, but it honestly was a highlight of my day. My advise: go see the rock!

The area surrounding the sea rock is very untidy and the steps to walk down are broken and uneven and there are many areas which are very slippery. There was a vast amount of rubbish strewn about. We walked down to the waters edge and saw the boat return from its short trip with just 1 visitor aboard. It looked a very old boat. We took a few photos and decided to walk along the car track back up which was much less dangerous than the steps but still not good. There were a few touts trying to sell a boat trip or a car tour on the pavement at the top and a couple of cafes/ restaurant for the view. Not worth going out of your way for.

Our visit to the Rouche today was absolutely fantastic, we were approached by a young gentlemen asking us if we wanted a boat ride around and in between in the famous Rouche rock, and without hesitation we happily accepted.
This was the best decision by far we have made in Beirut, the boat ride was fantastic.
The boat was large and sturdy nothing to be afraid of, the man driving the boat was very good at his job, manoeuvring around the Rouche in between the Rouche and into two small caves.
It was a boat ride we will never forget, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something like this.
Make sure to bring a selfie stick for this ride. The best!

Rouche Rocks is a nature rocks, it in the middle of Beirut. I loved the sea view and the walking there, you can sit in one the cafes , also if you or your kids like to ride a Horse or Camel you can do that for a short trip.
Also you take a boat to go and under the Rocks for 30 dollars ,

Went at sunrise and it was peaceful. Nice view, I walked down to the bottom right near the water. The path down smelt like animals and it was dirty. Just over the fence you can see rubbish it's a shame they don't keep this main promenade clean

One of the most important landmarks that should be visited in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, is that you can visit several caves with speedboats when you step down on foot, and the acrobatic captains can make your adrenalinous ceiling with gently maneuvers.
You can also relax in the cafes where the hookah smoked just above the rocks, and you will benefit from the delicious food and beverages that will help you relax.

Rouche Rock is a landmark of Beirut that at least a photo should be taken. There are 2 cafes/restaurants next to eat that you can sit and drink your coffee and observe the rock. But dont organize so much time for it! Just 1 hr is enough may be less but not more!

Definitely a nice place to watch the sunset or pass while taking a stroll, but it's nothing special. Just rocks in the sea. The restaurants around are overpriced and not that nice either.
