There's the usual selection of fish at wholesale prices. Although there's a wide variety, there are no places to cook what you bought. Still, it's bustling and worth a walk thru if you are looking for fresh seafood.

If you get nauseated easily, do not go there... it is interesting to see... relatively reasonably priced if you are going to buy a ton of fish, an experience to be sure.. but... not for the weak of heart.

Fish market is right next to ( left of the Souq). Locals go there for shopping as well as merchants...fresh seafood and very clean. Great to walk through the area and see what the commotion is about ( late afternoon...very busy with sales.) Friendly locals who told me that they sell the best fish in all of Kuwait.....no hassle and... More

Not missing any market as such on my trips, I have seen a lot of different fish markets around the world, and this one is impressively clean and organized. Though the selection is not that impressive, there are definitely seasonal surprises. A hidden falafel place is the most interesting of all. In the fish market building by the East Entrance... More

If you happen to travel to Kuwait city , this is a place you must visit . A large , crowded and clean fish market with fish and shells from the far world and from the nearby arabian gulf ( please don't call it Persian gulf , this is not politically correct ) . There are times with more people... More

Wow, what an experience this was! Don’t wear your finest shoes as the tiled floor is a wash of ice, fish ‘juices’ but fortunately mostly the water from the staff keeping it hosed down. It’s also likely to be a long way from heaven if you’re sensitive to the scents of marine life! But even if you are you really... More
