A must see!

I was the only one there at the time. They had to turn the lights on for me. It's an amazing collection of calligraphy! A must!

In the beginning was the word and this gem of a museum (a twin of the Taeq Rajab museum) shows how the word of God and man is more than a literary device, but a means of artistic expression. Not only this museum houses a kiswa (the covering of the Kaba in Meakkah, but also talismanic shirts, on which the... More

Given the Islamic religion not being usually expressed through images of human figures in paintings or sculptures, the beautiful ancient writing of Quran in Arabic became the object of art. The lucky ones could get to truly appreciate different forms of this art from different cultures, times and countries in this beautiful collection. You can also get there by bus... More

More than 100,000 items collected over a period of more than 60 years are displayed in this museum belonging to Tareq Rajab and his wife. Large and interesting collections from all over Asia and the Far East. Take your time visiting the museum which is located in Jabriya. The collections are well-organised and it's possible to view everything in one... More

Mr. and Mrs. Rajab did an amazing job of gathering (and then protecting) hand-made beauty when others didn't care-- their work would simply not be possible anymore. Beautiful, sense-rich glimpse into a world that few people know about-- even, sadly, most young people in the Middle East. A wide range of objects, with the calligraphy museum nearby worth a separate... More

Amazing artefacts, especially the fabrics and curtains. Variety of books, carvings, pictures and much more. Very beautiful. Parking is easy opposite New English School if it's not during a school day. 5 min walk from the other Tariq Rajab museum which I would also recommend.

It's an amazing museum and very beautiful on the inside and out. The museum has such a diverse collection and is quite large. Even children will find it interesting because there's something for everyone. A must-visit for anyone in Kuwait especially history lovers.

When I visited the Tareq Rajab Museum of Islamic Calligraphy, I was no longer surprised to be the only visitor. The museum is a must visit for people who love Calligraphy and Islamic History. The collection is pretty good and dates from the early years of the Hijri calendar. There is a coin collection from the Umayyad dynasty. The calligraphy... More

This was the only museum not destroyed by the 1990 invasion. The artifacts inside are ancient and memorable. Find the time to visit this amazing place.
