Visited this sight while it was being renovated with new fencing etc. It's in the middle of a busy roundabout, worth a trip there as the architecture is stunning.

Well, you've got to see it when you're in Tehran, haven't you. It's often the backdrop for news reporters doing their stuff. Traffic around it is fairly lethal so you risk life and limb getting across the road for a good photo!

If you are in Teheran, you will proberly passed by this landmark at some point. We didn't have time to visit the inside, but enjoyed the sight anyway.

A landmark close to the airport and the kind of the place that you will have to pass when entering into the CBD. Close to metro stations and pretty at night- it makes a good afternoon stop....although many see it as the landmark- I prefer something more historical ....anyways- nice stroll with friendly locals. Just make sure you get there... More

Known as modern gate of Tehran was built around 50 years ago. Now the square around it is one of crowded places of city. Its uique shape and form made it one of favorit places for photo shoot. Because of its situation near Airport there are some regulation for professional photography around it.

Being in Tehran and not seeing that place is impossible (counting in pictures). One of the most known symbols of Tehran. Not much at the place itself. Additionally during my visit some works have been in progress. Yet still, I would say that it's a must.
