Although not the greatest mosque in the Middle east, I thought the talk by one of the "preachers" as our guide was not allowed to do the tour.. He was very good, and explained the religion with a touch of humour, and even gave us a demonstration of call to prayer. Respect the dress code, and all rules, as this... More

The architecture of one of the most magnificent places in the Middle East is astonishing. It is so sad that during the guided tour they only try to convert you to Islam instead of explaining something about the most and the religion.

I had a chance to visit this huge Mosque in Friday which was crowded. I like the design and fences. Huge parking is available.

This beautiful mosque is open to non-Muslims. There's no entry fee. We had an amazing guide there. He made us feel very welcome there. The mosque is beautiful and serene (not overrun by the tourists). All of its volunteers are very friendly. The mosque also provides abaya for the women if they don't have a proper attire for the visit.... More

This is a must place to visit when going to Bahrain. Was very informative and enjoyable, our guide was amazing and told us the history and where they got the amazing lights and why a mosque is designed in certain ways. Tip for men wear long pants and shirt. Or you will wear a Thobe. Ladies wear long pants, skirt... More
