National Museum of KSA is an impressive museum. A great journey of history from pre-stone age till todate. The curio-shop needs to be improved a bit.

I visited the museum on March 2, 2018. It is an impressive building, with no adornment. It runs between a science Center and history of Islam. Some dioramas, and everything is informed in English, as well as Arabic.

If you live in Riyadh for a while I would absolutely recommend a visit to the National museum. It takes a couple of hours, it’s well realized and strongly interesting. It lets you understand many things about the country you are in.

The museum is pretty nice compared to other museums in the region but it's pretty randomly organized and some exhibits are pretty contrived. There's not a lot of text or information panels and some of the "historical" pieces or events feel manufactured. I recommend you...More

There is nothing much to see there, and be careful don't plan to visit the site before 8pm, because it will be closed for each prayer and bring enough water and food for you and your family
