About
The Sacred Mosque, stands majestically in the heart of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, serving as the focal point for millions of Muslims who embark on the sacred pilgrimages of Umrah and Hajj. This bio explores the significance of Masjid al-Haram and the services provided for pilgrims in the Holy Land. Masjid al-Haram holds a revered position in Islam, tracing its roots back to the time of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Isma'il (Ishmael), who built the Kaaba as a sanctuary for monotheistic worship. Over the centuries, the mosque has undergone expansions and renovations, evolving into the grand architectural masterpiece it is today. Its central location in Mecca and the presence of the Kaaba make it the holiest site in Islam and a symbol of unity for Muslims worldwide.

The experience is so surreal. It's a fulfilling one for me.

The place is very clean considering there are lots of pilgrims coming and going every second of the day. Can't imagine the hard work each cleaner or staff put into it to make this place stay as clean as it is. Kudos to each one of them!

The security personnel are all alert and on the other hand polite in dealing with a lot of different people. They may raise their voices in one or two occasions but that's only to ensure that all protocols in the area is being followed. Salute to all of them!

There are a lot of pilgrims so you can literally smell their sweat, you can wear mask if you wanted. But some of us didn't bother. We do the tawaf in the morning around 10am, which we observed that the people are less than the afternoon to evening time. Nevertheless, it doesn't matter much as long as you're desire is to perform tawaf wholeheartedly.

Giving a Rating isn’t our thing...You’re going wild and spiritual. You find peace in your interior. Everyone has to go. But the indoor ceiling spaces around the cabin are officially in construction and dirt....people stand out with their shoes. And that gets dirty. This dirt is tormenting Muslims. There’s raining...All of the sewage around the harem is crushing. Service is zero. But if you don’t think about it and engage in worship, you’ll find peace.

Entrance to Makkah and Madinah is restricted to Muslims only. The most holy and spiritual place in the World for Muslims. Once there, you can meet Muslims from anywhere in the planet. No common language but religion only that unites all those millions to come and perform either Umrah at any time, or Hajj at a specific time. Looking to Kaaba is considered worship. So, when you visit, spare some time to sit in front or far front of Kaaba and pray for yourself and your family. Nowadays because of the crowds, entry to the ground of the Kaaba is restricted for only people coming for Umrah. So, if you visit any other time, you will not be allowed to reach that point.
So, if you plan for Umrah, don’t waste any seconds of your time praying in this place.

Largest Mosque in the world and extremely beautiful. It is under a lot of construction so be patient. Listen and follow to the staff as it helps with crowd control. Be patient as it is an extremely large mosque and the crowds will be large. After the Kabaa, you will be in awe at the size and beauty and art work.

Alhamdulillah (Grateful to my Lord, Alloh Subhanahuwataala), after so many years, eventually I could visit The Great Mosque Al Haram in Mecca on July 2024 and saw Kabah for the first time in person. For Moslems, this spiritual trip to Mecca and Madinah (Umroh or Hajj), is the top top dreaming ones. Umroh takes around 9 days (Mecca and Madinah), and Hajj around 40 days.
First landing in Jeddah with Qatar Air Lines (transit), then go to Mecca, stayed at Marriot Jabal Omar.
Few days ahead, we went to Madinah with Haramain fast train and arrived in Madinah, stayed at hotel Taiba Front Madinah. Both hotel in Mecca and Madinah was excellent, with Staff hospitality and of course the meals/food/drinks.
Total for the Umroh trip is 9 days.
It was the most pleasure trip I have ever had.
I wish all of us Moslems could go to Mecca and Madinah.. Aamiin..

Absolutely amazing views….the cleanliness of the place amazes me each time. With thousands of visitors each day, how do they keep the place so spotlessly clean and pleasant smelling…..!! I feel a lot of peace sitting here and praying…..despite surrounded by people, I can suddenly feel that I am alone, just talking to God in my thoughts! Can’t wait to go back….

This was my first visit to Mecca from Dubai in December 2022. December is a right time to travel if you are travelling with a young kids and older people. My advise is to book a hotel in advance so you can find the better and cheapest option of the hotel This was our by road trip and ALLAHUMDULILAH went really and people in Haram are helpful but don't expect the same hotel services like Dubai. Planning to visit them soon inshALLAH.
