I have never seen Haram so crowded except during Haj. You have to walk through passageways to reach Kaaba, and many parts are blocked with plywood on the first and second floors.

We went for our Umrah in January 2023 and stayed for a month including 10 days at Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah. As with most people, it was a blessed experience.
When we were there, we noticed how well organized were the workers in keeping the tawaf and praying area clean, making sure the zam zam water containers were refilled, and keeping the Quran and prayer chairs organized in the respective shelves and racks, etc.
We were disappointed when the security guards re-routed us to another praying area/floor level, but we realized later that it was done to reduce congestion.
When we got back home, we came across this article about how they managed Masjid al-Haram, keeping it clean, and safe for all pilgrims and visitors.
By reading this article in advance of your trip, you will appreciate and have a better experience when you are there. We should have done this ourselves but only found the article after we got home. I can't put the full link to the article here, so you have to replace (dot) with an actual dot

NOTE: This is not a promotional link. It is for you to read before you go as I strongly believe that it is a good advance reading. It will help visitors to the Great Mosque of Mecca or as I like to call it, Masjid al-Haram, to fully appreciate the facilities provided to make your Umrah or Hajj or your visites, meaningful.

I am planning to do Umrah soon In Sha Allah. All the direct flights to Saudi Arabia land in the evening (after 9PM). As I will have to enter the state of ihram on the plane. I'll need to ideally perform Umrah as soon as I enter into Makkah. Most likely I won't get there till 1AM. Will Masjid al haram be open then?
Jazakallah khair

Dear Masjid al-Haram staff,
Is it available to every Muslim to get a visa issued by authorities and have a tour package to Mecca? What are the cost and time for preparation of all those things? Are there cheap discount airfares and tour packages with accommodations and at which season?
Please text me to phone: +77056260751
Faithfully,

Perform umrah 25 August till 5th September.
We have emailed saudi evisa and they said we can visit and do umrah with a visitor visa.
However people have said hajj seasons end 3rd August and they wont allow anyone for a month?
Please can someone verify? Saudi evisa department said I can perform umrah

As far as I understand a visitor visa is issued at any time in the year and it allows you to perform Umrah. But visitor visa is still a new system and no one tried it during Hajj season. The best source for the information will be the Saudi embassy. Good luck.
Due to my parents' condition, they may likely require the service of the scooters. Are the scooters easily accessible if I had to bring my parents on a wheelchair to get there? What is the most convenient way / entrance to get to the scooter area on a wheelchair? Jazakallahukhairan kathira...

Sorry I am not sure where the scooters are located. However, there's loads of people available they provide wheelchair services but they are quite expensive. Or you can ask your hotel for the wheelchair which they let you borrow during your stay and if there is two of you then you can push the wheelchair yourself. I hope someone might be able to help help you in regards to the scooters. Please make duaa for us and all the ummah while you are there. May Allah make it it easy for you and your family. Ameen
