So many people visit this mountain and even try to climb up to reach the cave known as the Ghar-E-Hira. But I would advise you to just have a look from the base of the mountain and instead devote your time and energy in tawaf.

Bought a walking-stick at the bottom, hiked to the top in 40minutes, non-stop. Took longer coming down because I stopped for sight-seeing. A little crowded at the top. Soothing, just soothing. The view is amazing!

First revelation came from Allah to Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ in Caver of Hira. You may require approximately 2 hours to reach to the cave. The elevation is steep and require energy to climb to the cave. Do not forget to carry the water.
