The Citadel has a wonderful mix of Greek, Roman and Arab history on a hilltop in the center of Amman. It is worth a visit for the views alone.

Located in the city center this historical hill overlooks the entire city with excellent views all around. Also amazing architecture from Roman times including a Museum as well as a temple dedicated to Hercules.. A must visit when in Amman!

A must see place in Amman with plenty of Roman ruins. The chief attraction is the fantastic views of Amman from the walls.

There are at least four civilizations that have inhabited Amman over the millennia. The archeological excavations have revealed parts of all. This is a fascinating site with wonderful views of the first 7 hills of Amman. Good small museum of artifacts. Must visit.

The view from up there is lovely. You get to see amman downtown from above. We were lucky to there while the prayer calls were reverberating through the city. Apart from that the sites at the citadel are very average.
