Excellent place to walk around and try our some gourmet fusion and just delightful cuisine. It's the old buildings the ambience. The area is now very popular with foreigners and good be mistaken for the latin quarter of Amman. Old families who have been here for generations. New fun restaurants. A step away from Downtown Amman. All is great.

Jabal al Weibdeh is the area of choice for many expatriates to live in Amman. Quiet neighborhoods, reasonably priced restaurants and coffee shops make al Weibdeh a great place to visit.

Jabal Weibde is one of the original seven hills the city of Amman was built on (Jabal meaning hill or mountain in Arabic) so it still has the true Middle Eastern feeling unlike the newer areas in West Amman which are a bit too commercial and they emulate the Western culture more. The view of Amman from Weibde is absolutely... More

This area is a great place for tourist and locals. I love the feel of it, it is like old world charm with updated coffee shops and restaurants. It is especially fun at night. It is a must see even just to walk around in the narrow street..

I love to walk the narrow streets, the hills and view the shops and the people. They are friendly and welcoming, so you can interact. Amman is one of the last cultural, safe and authentic arabic cities and here you can feel its authenticity,

I was really surprised how Jebel Al Weibdeh turned. I remember it as a normal Amman street, but you have to admire the way it turned to be with many food outlets and coffee shops. It's really a place. That you should go for a nice afternoon walk and meal!
