There are two museums on either side of the front of the Roman Amphitheater, this is one. They are both small, one focusing on firearms, clothes, and food making activities and the other on mosaic tiles.

If this had not been included in the price of my ticket for the amphitheatre I'd have asked for my money back. The lighting was awful, the cases dirty, a lot of the exhibits were missing and the whole place, including the exhibits needed cleaning. The guard was sat inside smoking which did not help with the cleanliness either. Yuk.... More

This museum is opposite the Folklore Museum and is covered in the price of the amphitheater ticket. It had some very interesting mosaics on display and also some beautiful costumes from the various regions and people that make up Jordan (now and from the past). There was also several pieces of ornate silver jewellery and and head pieces that gave... More

Small museum included in the price of the ticket for the amphitheatre. Takes only about 10 or 15 minutes to see. If it was a standalone venue it wouldn't be worth viewing.

Viewing time is short and sweet. Interesting to see different culture and history of Jordan through dress, cooking, art and craftsmanship.

This museum is included in your ticket for the Roman Theatre so visit it while you are there. It's small and not much special, though still worth a short visit to walk around and see some typical Jordanian clothing, accessories and utensils. The museum should be updated with some more information boards.

A nice way to have an idea of how are the Jordan traditions nowadays and in the past. It's a great contrast with our culture.
