Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Worst restaurant , worst snack among all the beaches in tél aviv… 30mn minimum waiting line to buy even a drink from the snack, watermelon ridiculously small and over priced , cold chips after a 30mn wait the chips were cold . I even saw the bitter waiter give away my water melon to another costumer , had to wait another 15mn to get mine. Not tourists friendly, ugly music / DJ, noisy

We stayed at an apartment over looking the beach for 3 nights. The beach had people in the water from dawn to dusk. The city workers completely cleared and cleaned the beach of trash and debris every morning like clock work. The beach is fairly long and sandy with a couple of life guard tower spaced covering the whole beach. There are a couple of rock breakwaters that protect the beach from heavy surf and rip tides. We encountered some small fish that were quite aggressive - in fact they bit us and drew some blood. Very surprising! They acted like a school of piranha's. This occurred on multiple occasions, with and without sunscreen.

The beach in Tel aviv, is long, and it is a nice walk on the promenade. Fun to watch wind surfers. (the sea can be rough in winter). Some nice bars to pop into, if you don't speak Ivrit, (modern Hebrew), don't worry, as most israelis like to practice their English. Love Israel, have loads of friends and relatives there, so I can can have cheap break.

Sorry Matka athletes....when I go to the beach i do not like to be bothered by the noise of the ball going back and fourth...back and fourth.....I want to enjoy the view and what a view!! Jaffa from far away, huge boulders to climb on and a few seconds away from ABULAFIA (Get the cheese Sambusak!) My fav TLV beach by far. On Fridays there are many dancers and drummers welcoming the Shabbat.

Your chance to speak to Israelis, usually quite open and warm towards tourists.
Winter is definetly much much warmer and nicer than Europe or North America.
Early morning you will meet many people who walk, run, do Tai che.
Afternoon you will probably get, weather permits, a very beautiful sun set.
Many places to stop for a drink or a light snack.
People come for the winter mediterenian from all over.
Enjoy!

Not my favorite beach. A little bit too rude and roudy sometimes. I much prefer the beach closer to Yaffa or the ones up North, after the marina and Gordon swimming pool.

This is one of the many beaches in Tel Aviv, and they are well patrolled and very family friendly. The small restaurant here serves filling if, over priced snack foods and the beer is a tad more expensive than off it...but, when you are thirsty, you pay the piper!
Great views of the sunset are to be had here, and the swimming is fantastic...the water is warm and inviting.
