These free open air concerts happen twice every summer and feature folk, blues, country and indie musicians from around the country and sometimes even from abroad. There is stone bleacher seating or grass or bring a chair. Its fun and participants return loyally for 16 years. The venue is dedicated to the late Daniel Pearl.

Not everyone can afford musical events and concerts that usually cost hundreds. But everyone deserves to enjoy live music. So the free park hoots fill this need. Purely grassroots acoustic and by candle-light. Folk music performers come from all around the country and everyone (even your dog) is invited for FREE.

Last summer it had to relocate to a bomb shelter due to daily missile attacks - so the show did go on.... More

Every middle of July and August in a cute little public park's chess amphi, folks get together to make unplugged music of all kinds. The music is mostly folk, blues, country, world and original music. The candle-light on the checker-board stage give it a romantic feeling of days gone by. About 20 musicians or groups do two songs each with... More
