Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We rented bikes at Star bikes and rode about 5 miles toward beach and then on beach board walk. Recommend seeing the park and doing the ride but find a different bike rental. Terrible service, didn’t check bikes out we had to ask for air, my seat kept falling down and to top it off, we had to leave our drivers license behind. We returned the bikes, paid and failed to retrieve our DL. Didn’t realize it until in taxi 30 minutes away. Store guy was too busy smoking and visiting w friend to think a minute about work. Clearly we had a bad experience! Don’t rent bikes here!!

The Yarkon park is a long park which follows the yarkon river on both sides. Lots of fun activities for both adults and kids are offered (in particularly on a Saturday). You can hire regular bicycles, or bicycles for two or even bicycles for four.... this is what we did and it was lots of fun. The cost for hiring a bicycle for two or four is 80 shekels for half an hour.... It was plenty....
In addition, you can hire motor boats (I think around 130 for half an hour) or paddle boats for 80 shekels per half an hour.
If that isn't enough, there is mini golf on the otherside of the river, beautiful walks along the river in both directions. However, if you walk southward you will reach the lovely Tel Aviv port which is full of trendy restaurant, cafes, a gorgeous food market, an arts and crafts market (which is open on Saturday only) and expensive designer shops.
For the little kids, there are plenty of playgrounds of all kinds and for those who have dogs, there is a speical 'dog playground'.
This is a buzzing and pretty park on the weekend. Israeli's love to jog and bike ride here and so you have to watch out that you don't walk on the bike path as you could get run over!!
This is a lovely day out for both adults and kids... Enjoy!

Amazing green in the city. There is small free zoo for the kids, many playgrounds, you can hire a small boat or kayak. The end of the river leads to the port and you can continue to turn left and walk on quiet route by the sea.

Between the Adventure Park, (tethered) Hot Air Balloon, Zoo, Aviary, Rock Garden and interesting (and often suggestive) cacti, Park Hayarkon is a fun day with something for everyone. Definitely worth checking out when you're in Tel Aviv.

Park Hayarkon stretches from the sea eastward. It features many other small attractions and small gardens some of them requires a fee to access but the park itself is free.
I wrote endless in the title because if you keep walking in this park you will eventually find yourself in "Shvil Israel" The Israel road (outside of the park) which spans on the entire state of Israel from north to south.. That's obviously many days of walking....

This is one of the best parks for bike riding. Tel Aviv is generally good for bicycles, but the park has bike paths from one end to the other.
