Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

it’s always a interesting part of your journey when spontaneously turned another street and faced with beautiful calm place like this. History is around.

As I came to the cemetery a small group had arrived to see Arik Einstein's grave. I don't know who he was, but they were excited about looking for it. To find it turn left just inside the main gate and follow the path down. It is nearly at the end, but you can't miss it as it is covered in pebbles and other gifts left by people. The gate in looks like it is closed, but was not locked and could easily be pushed open. I didn't understand any of the headstones but to walk around among them (some with photos) I find interesting. there are very small graves, they can't be laying down flat as some of the graves are only a little over a meter long.

As somebody said,, all the "streets" of Tel Aviv can be found here, and other famous residents, too.

But the most moving part are the graves of all the unknown soldiers who died in local battles in the War of Indpendence. Young boys and girls who went into the army, literally, right off of the ship. There was no system of dog tags and IDs then, everything moved way to fast. Far too many such graves. :(

Interesting wandering amongst the graves and monuments - only downside is there is no map or guide to indicate who is buried where!

Trumpeldor Cemetery was founded in 1902. This is an old cemetery in which many famous people are buried, many of the founders of Tel-Aviv, the second prime minister of Israel (Moshe Sharett), and many artists, authors, poets and Zionist leaders. It is wonderful to walk among these graves (some are better maintained than others), feel the special atmosphere of the place and think about these special people who used to live in this area and contributed to our lives today

The cemetery on Trumpeldor Street contains many of the founding father and mothers of the city. It is small but filled with stories. Admittedly I'm prejudiced because I do have a few relatives there.

What an interesting place to visit. But I must add that what made this meaningful to me was that we went with a wonderful guide whose knowledge about the place and the people buried there was invaluable. She had stories to go with the information and after all was said and done it gave us great insight into the many well know people buried there--politicians, artists, early zionists who formed the history of Tel Aviv and of Israel. The cemetary itself is visually really something to see. Again, to make this meaningful and to get the most out of the experience, go with a guide.

The cemetery is one of the first Jewish cemetery in Tel Aviv. Builders and founders of Tel Aviv are buried in this old cemetery. Politicians, actors, artists, and singers, are buried in this cemetery. the place has opening hours, so dont go there with out checking when it is open.

Trumpeldor Cemetery is a quiet place in the heart of Tel Aviv, a must-see for everyone interested in the history and culture of Israel. Our steps lead to the graves of Arik Einstein, Ephraim Kishon, Shoshana Damari, Reuven Rubin. And there are many, many more. The only minus is no map/plan at the entrance so finding certain graves needed some detective skills.

This is such a lovely, historical, romantic place, filled with stories and histories or tragedy and peace. My family;s grandparents are there, and the most important writers and poets and songwriters.
