Family had a really fun time walking through the tunnel. I hadn't been there for many years and was really impressed with the preview tour of the excavations ending with the water tunnels. Interesting and fun. Highly recommended.

This was an interesting and fun tour but not for the claustrophobic. There are 2 parts to this experience. The first part includes a film and historic explanation of the development of the City of David (Jerusalem) and the protection that was developed as well...More

This was a bit of adventure, we did the dry tunnel, you could see enough without a torch, it was not a difficult walk but you did need sensible walking shoes as it was a little damp and uneven in places. You get an idea...More

City of David is my #1 place to recommend for visitors. It is kept up very well, and it always has something new going on.

Sadly we arrived 15.40, last walk in the wet tunnel was 15.30, this route is both longer and I hear a much more exciting experience. Instead we walked the dry tunnel, it was a short walk done in 15 minutes if not stopping to much.

This was a lot of fun! Wear shorts, water shoes and bring a headlamp if possible.. but a flashlight will work :)

We waded through water in pitch dark and narrow tunnels and were relieved to emerge out into the open after a rather longish walk of about 1.2 km. Most of the time the water was about shin deep but at one point near the beginning,...More

I'm 5-10 and 210. Had to turn sideways a few times but there were larger people in our group that made it as well.
