This is a very interesting attraction that puts the visitor at the base of the Western Wall. You learn and are amazed at the history while seeing in person the prayer rituals in realtime.

Go underground and see the rich hidden history under the streets. Tour is okay but but very detailed and lots of tours so it gets crowded and can be hard to hear and see everything.

Very interesting to watch the different underground levels each representing a culture. It gives a good impression of the history of Jerusalem during several millenia.

A fantastic place under the ground. Great tour guides explaining 5000 years of history, and architecture. We learnt and understood more of Jerusalem's history here than anywhere else. Roman age underground aqueduct, 2000 years old streets (today all underground), etc are all part of the...More

I don't remember much since there are so many old ruins in Israel. I remember the old market place and the mosaic of the market with the present day mayor.

It has been quite a few months now and still I am speechless when I think of the tunnels. It is highly interesting, you are 14 meters and more under the city, following the western wall, coming to the closest point possible to the holiest...More

This is well worth a visit. It will show you all the history that goes with the Western Wall of the Dome of the Rock. It is guide led, ours was very good, entertaining and informative, and is value for money.

Which tour do you book first when considering the tunnel tour and then the behind the scenes tour???? so that one ends and the other begins.

I think I would choose first "Behind the scenes" and then the tunnels, but all depends when they have available place for both tours.

I only know of the tour we took. Tix are timed and we bought them in passageway near Western Wall. I would bet a hotel concierge could get tix for you also.

we went on a tour that didn't have any admission charge - so you could walk through there on Shabbat - we entered through the City of David and came up near the Western Wall - so there are probably other tunnels that require... More
