Slightly off the beaten track for most tourists this fountain is in a park. There is so much to see in Jerusalem that it may not be a destination by itself but if you in Yemin Moshe stop in the Blumfield Park to see this fountain. Located in the Blumfield Park near the Liberty Bell Park.Famous with the first fountain built in Jerusalem 1989 donated by West Germany.The fountain ansd sculptures by the artistGranot Rampf,Symbolising coexistance in Jerusalem,the lions emblem of Jerusalem idealic life symbolised by lions mice and pigeons living together

a beautiful fountain with lions scuptures symbol of jerusalem and the old kingdom of judea....situed in the center of jerusalem close from the montefiori center wind mill...this fountain offered to jerusalem municipality by berlin municipality became over the years part of jerusalem high lights

Happened to come across this fountain by sheer chance - didn't even know about it's existance. Took my parents on an evening farewell-to-Jerusalem walk thru the strip of parks/gardens on the western border of Yemin Moshe neighborhood - and found this fountain on the southern end of the strip. Good park around to walk and beautiful fountain to sit and relax. At the weekends, the place is full of people and can get its share of garbage, though.

I live in Jerusalem's upscale Yemin Moshe neighbourhood. When I want to walk to the German Colony neighbourhood, with its restaurants and shops, or to HeChatzer restaurant, between the Bethlehem Rd. and the Hebron Rd., I walk past this fountain, decorated with whimsical statues of lions and birds.
