This is a military cemetery to pioneers, politicians and soldiers who fought during all wars from the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 until today. It is also a resting place for 10 of the 11 athletes murdered during the Munich Olympics in...More

This was an important part of the trip and pulled the experience together particularly the ending path to Yad Vashem.

Get acquainted with Israel's leaders, after a pleasant visit to Herzl's Museum (easy for all ages, and quite educational). Inspirational messages

After viewing the grave site of Theodore Hertl, we walked through the cemetery, and viewed the graves of prime ministers and dignitaries. Seeing the age of the soldiers that died, many so very young, was heartbreaking. Freedom is not free and this site proves that...More

The tour is designed to teach you the history to the Jewish State and it works well. You move through 3 rooms that show short films that explains how the process started regards Israel.

...make sure you know enough about Herzl and the idea of Zionism. The place itself isn't much interesting. It's a good possibility to connect it with a visit in Yad Vashem. To calm down after it. If you are lucky you'll be there alone.
