Church like a church but history of Jesus is important for Christians so it is nice to visit the place.

The birth place of Mary, is next to the Pools of Bethseda and along the Via Delrosa. this is a simple but beautiful church. A perfect place to stop for a quiet prayer and if you can sing, the acoustics are amazing!!! Also the Pools...More

This is an amazingly beautiful church. We were there as a group, and we were the only ones inside at the time. We were so moved that we sang a few hymns. Just beautiful with the acoustics!

The church is stunning in its simplicity and the accoustic is superb. Try to wait until the coach parties have gone elsewhere and sit quietly and pray if you do. Nearby are the Bethesda pools. Try to go to the far side of the site...More

There certainly is an admission fee ... approx Eur 2.50. Opening hours Summer 08:00 to 12:00 hrs and afternoon 14:00 - 18:00 hrs In Winter it closes at 17:00 hrs
