I have seen this museum several times. It is haunting and yet inspirational. You get to feel as if you were a part of the Holocaust and you get to understand the horrors of what went on. There are reviews of Survivors who describe what has happened to them on several different videos, an entire room dedicated to the children... More

My dad took me there when I was 15 years old, in 1995. We're from Germany. There are no words to describe this experience, but I know that I will never forget that day. Everyone who came out of the "Hall of Children" was sobbing, including me. Never forget. Beautiful memorial, very important place. It seems to be such a... More

Yad Vashem is a must see for everyone. I have no words except how important it is to go there, understand, and realise that what happened might happen again and that we need to remember. It is a place that shows the worse of humanity, but also the best: end your visit with the garden of the Righteousand take a... More

This is one of the most well done museums I have experienced. From the moment we walked in, the emotion of the Holocaust hit us. I cried the whole time. Make sure you bring kleenex. I learned so much and appreciated all the details added to each display. There are videos, photos, artifacts that are all powerfully displayed. You will... More

we were hurried through it with a big tour group. I think 2.5 hours is probably sufficient. i was surprised how big it is. it was a good experience, obviously the museum is full of things that are disturbing, awful, and terrible, but it's a good history lesson.

THE best museum to this subject, very intensive, objective and very ashaming. You understand more about war, holocaust and history.

This is the REAL THING. It is better than other holocaust museums that I have visited. It is easy to navigate and very interesting. Plan to spend a few hours here!

You can spend a whole day here. Very moving stories, first hand account of those who actually were there. Don't miss the children's memorial.
