My second trip to the Garden Tomb was as good as the first. There is a peacefulness in the beautifully kept garden that feeds one's spirit; the colours of the flowers and the shady trees contrast with the arid landscape and busyness of the rest...More

Tranquil, peaceful and lovely - and especially wrought with meaning if you are a believer and know that He is risen indeed. And even if you don't, one should explore to get time out from the buzz of Jerusalem and for a moment of tranquil.

No one knows for sure where the most important of all tombs is but this has all the earmarks of the right place. It is in a beautiful garden very near Golgotha. Don't miss this.

while opinions vary and no one knows for sure where the Crucifixion actually occurred, the garden tomb is a wonderful place for reflection and contemplation. Highly recommend if you tour Jerusalem.

I'm a Christian myself, and my visit to this place leaves a deep impression to me. The supposed tomb of Jesus is well-maintained for tourists to see, the garden is wonderful, the guide is knowledgeable. You can see Golgotha as well. Impressive.

I have been here 3 times and always get very touching experience there. I could feel and recall Jesus' love and sacrifice in every wordship service with my group there. I saw some beautiful flowers.

I really loved the tranquility of this place. There were different tour groups so a lot of people but turns were taken. A solemn place to visit but I liked it so much better than the Chruch of the Holy Sepulchre. More serene and reflective.

Yes, its easier from Damascus Gate - just go directly opposite the Damascus gate; and there are a couple of bakeries opposite, pick up their local bagel or two, its very nice and tasty.

You are really missing out if you skip the tour. Since the tour is free and only takes about 20 minutes, there is no reason to by pass it. It will help you to understand what you are looking at and why this site is so... More
