This city is full of 2000 year history. Quite a different experience than any other place on earth. A mix of different cultures ,different food and religions. Over all Israel is a must see.

It was great to visit Jerusalem to see the old city and to experience the culture. The sites were amazing to see. I appreciated the tour of the city and to see how people live there.

Visit a christian church named Christ Church. In the museum which is a free tour; you will get so much information that you will leave wanting to know more! The church is located by the Jaffa Gate, towards the right (behind the tower of David).

There's nowhere like it. Wander round, soak it all up, enjoy the history, the emotion that seeps out the very stones.

Although unnecessary to say as it's obvious: absolutely stunning to see this beautiful old city once in real life!

Incredible history in this little old city, I really love the architecture, the landmarks, the churches, the histories of everything. The only criticism I have was that too many shops, too commercialize with ripped off prices.

We came with the kids to Jerusalem and enjoyed a day tour to Jerusalem. Also it was our second time it was magnificent. Jerusalem is unique and with a tour guide it's much better.

Any trip to Israel must include a visit to the Old City. Whether you are Jewish, Christian, Armenian or Moslem, there is history in those walls and on the cobbled stones of the streets of Jerusalem. When we were there this time the annual Music...More

While the Ambassador is a great choice hotel, I couldn't see the dome from our room or even from around the hotel for that matter. Having traveled the world for over 30 years, I can only say that the key elements in rating... More

Can somebody suggest how to choose a tour guide for Old Jerusalem. So many people have said they were happy with their guides and I'm trying to plan ahead of time as we have a month before our trip.

We used the Bein Harim walking tour. Like many other groups they were great, but given the amount they had to cover in the short time they had, we had to return ourselves the following morning, once we knew where to go. My... More
