Lots of people walking, couples and dog owners. Great view of the Haifa bay with hidden and shaded areas to sit and rest. There is plenty of parking along the promenate and you can even find free parking. There was a public bathroom that my husband said was surprisingly clean.

MY EXPERIENCE
“I visited this place” on a cold evening and was stunned by the grandeur of the osmotic view, with the given dome of the illuminated Baha’i Temple in the middle.
But be aware of local ruffians drag racing on the street at night and taking in a language that I didn’t understand- that made me uncomfortable, despite the older retired guard lounging at the inside of the entrance to the locked Baha’i Gardens.

on a nice day not rainy you can see the northern border of Israel.

This promenade is a wonderful way to view the bay and mountains surrounding Haifa. At the risk of repeating myself, it too was breathtaking. It is rather long so wear comfortable shoes.

We were staying at Dan Carmel hotel so the promenade was just at our feet. Great view of haifa bay and Bahai gardens

Beautiful view to the Haifa Bay area. you can find nice photo spots across the promenade.

We are lucky to live a stone's throw away from the Louis Promenade, parallel to Yaffe Nof Street up on the Carmel. To walk from one end to the other takes ten-fifteen minutes. The promenade is well maintained (private funding), virtually litter-free, and pleasant in itself, with shade from trees if it's hot. What makes it outstanding, though, is the amazing view it affords of the Haifa Bay region, from Haifa port up to Rosh HaNikra on the Lebanon border. Of course, good visibility can't be guaranteed, and some days you can hardly see anything, but if the air quality is good, you must visit! At one end you have the Baha'i Gardens, which you can admire from the top; at the other, Carmel Centre, with its restaurants, cafes and shops (good for lunch or a snack). Highly recommended!

In the balcony with a special atmosphere enjoy very typical food and very fresh, the dishes are very big and the cleftico was fantastic.
